Released by Onyx Path Publishing in December 2013, Blood and Smoke: The Strix Chronicles saw the extension of the remodelling of the core New World of Darkness ruleset into the world of Vampire: The Requiem. Additions included the by-now familiar Conditions and a new element, the Strix. If you thought vampires were nasty, you haven't met the Strix, who are demon-possessed corpses that scare (and kill) vampires. This line didn't last long, being retooled into Vampire: The Requiem 2e in 2014.
